If you’ve been wanting to dip your toes into the group trip world, this is the tour for you. Five days in what feels like three separate destinations – with stunning mountains, beautiful beaches and a vibrant city vibe.
Barcelona is one of my favourite cities in Europe, and I can’t wait to show you around! From stunning landscapes, to delicious food, and a bit of fiesta too – Catalonia really has it all.
I’ll be on hand to help with anything and everything throughout the tour.

Urbany Hostel – BCN Go!
For this tour we will be staying in four bed ensuite dorms (with just our group). We’re conveniently located right in the city centre, just a 20 minute walk from the gothic quarter.
Private air conditioned transport for alll activities
Welcome to Barcelona! Today we’ll have a bit of free time to explore the city, so why not head to the gothic quarter, Park Güell, or grab a glass of wine at a rooftop bar overlooking the city?
In the evening, we’ll be meeting for our welcome dinner at the hostel – welcome to the Irish travel gang!
This morning we’ll have a two-hour sailing experience along the Barcelona coastline, with panoramic views of the city from the sea.
The tour takes place on a private sailing experience in two boats driven by professionalskippers and includes soft drinks, light snacks and cava on board.
After a quick swim stop, we’ll enjoy a small aperitif and a glass of cava and soak in the sun!
The afternoon has some free time to relax after a busy morning, and tick off any last sight seeing in the city!
Discover Montserrat and its landscape, one of Catalonia’s most striking natural landmarks.
After a short visit to the monastery, we’ll start hiking along a light, scenic hiking route, suitable for all fitness levels. Here we’ll have stunning views over the monastery and the forests around. The route will continue through secret trails to the highest point of the hike. If we’re lucky we will have breathtaking views of 360 degrees over the multi-peaked rocky range and on clear days we would be able to see the Pyrenees mountains and Barcelona.
We’ll return to the hostel around 4:30 pm and have some free time in the evening after a busy day of hiking.
Today we’re visiting Tossa de Mar, a picturesque seaside village known for its Mediterranean atmosphere, historic old town and coastal views.
You’ll have time to explore at your own pace, walk along the beachfront, explore the castle or grab a coffee with a view.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit Clos d’Agon Winery, where the experience begins with a guided visit to the vineyards. And of course, we’ll have to sample some of the produce ourselves!
The experience concludes with a picnic among the vineyards, including a selection of traditional Catalan products.
Our last day of the tour will be a chilled checkout. After breakfast at the hostel, enjoy your last few hours in paradise before heading home!
Long weekend break in Catalonia with epic hikes, private sailing experience, vineyard visit and time to explore Barcelona at your own pace.
It is recommended to arrive and depart from Barcelona–El Prat Airport as this airport is well connected by metro. However, the Barcelona Girona airport is another option that is close to the city.
This tour includes all accommodation and activities as listed in the itinerary. It also includes all breakfasts throughout the trip.
Dinners and lunches in Barcelona are not included (excluding the welcome dinner), and you will also need spending money for souvenirs, gifts, and activities during any free time.
The tour starts with a welcome dinner in our hostel on the evening of the first night. The start time will be confirmed as soon as we know everyone’s flight details, as we want to ensure we pick a time that works well for our guests.
On the last day, you are free to leave at whatever time best works for you.
